Rob Hadden qualified from Oxford in 1992, studied Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) for a PhD, and became consultant neurologist in 2004. He leads the regional specialist peripheral nerve service at King’s College Hospital, London, recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the GBS/CIDP Foundation International, and the largest UK centre for skin biopsy for small fibre neuropathy. He has co-authored international guidelines on diagnosis and management of vasculitic neuropathy, CIDP, paraproteinaemic demyelinating neuropathy and multifocal motor neuropathy. He is secretary of the British Peripheral Nerve Society and organiser of the annual King’s Neuromuscular Symposium. He also practises at Maidstone Hospital, Kent.
